I am seeking info regarding John and Mary Hatfield. They had 2 daughters
Bessie L. and Effie. Bessie married Hazel Grice Garrison and they had 3
children:Robert E.Garrison, Nina Garrison Peterson and James H.
Garrison.Effie married William Harris. John died March 3,1933 and Mary died
Nov. 27,1928. They lived in the Abingdon or Herman areas. They may
originally have been from West Virginia.

I am doing research on the "Housh" family. All I can trace back to is James
D. Housh b:1829 in Indiana and married to Hannah M. Jones b:1832 in
Pennslyvania. They lived and ahd children at Haw Creek Township,Knox
County,IL. The children were Francis M., George E., Justin R., James
O., Prudence E., Rosa M., Lena P., and Charles Judson Housh who was born in
Haw Creek Township April 29,1874 and died Aug.02,1956 He was married to
Gertrude Bragg in 1896.

early 1840's with his wife Hannah and Children: Hannah b. 1807; David
b.1808; Fales b. 1811; Asa b. 1815; John b. 1819; Eliza b. 1822 and Susan
b.1824. Asa married Eliza FINK 1842, Eliza married Edwin
BILLINGIN and Susan married 1853 Eli HUBBARD. This about all I know of them.
But I feel the family stayed around Knox for sometime. I would like to
correspond with anyone who is related to or knows of this family.

I am searching for Charles ROGERS and his wife, Eliza PHILLIPS, who moved to
the Knoxville area about 1844. Children: Charles Henry; Herman Knox, married
Anna HARMONY; Elizabeth, married Isaac Quentin ARMSTRONG; James Phillips,
married Sarah Frances DEAL; and Charlotte married Alanson G. CHARLES. I
believe there is some kind of connection to a man named Herman KNOX who
lived in Knoxville in the 1830's and died about 1841. His brother James KNOX
and sisters Elizabeth KNOX and Catherine KNOX TAYLOR also lived in Knox
County.

1807, d. 10/14 feb 1866) who married, 25 Jan 1827, Elizabeth Barton (b. 12,
Jan 1812 0r 1810, d. 30 apr 1889). Elizabeth is buried on the Joe Bolton
farm, Knox Co, Ill. She was living at Millersburg, Mercer co, with her
daughter Shurepta Ann who had married Francis Marion Cubbage. Elizabeth is
the daughter of Joshua Barton and Elizabeth Knox (father John Knox dec of
presb founder John Knox), both were born in Scotland.Their 5th child,
Elizabeth Knox McNeal married Hugh Wells and lived in Beamon, Grundy Co Ia,
then on to Nebraska. Their daughter Ruth married Elmer Bundy - these are my
great-grandparents.

I'm researching the Charles FRANKENBERGER family of Knox Co; who moved to
Knox Co. shortly after 1880. Charles was born in Bureau Co., in 1857. I
believe they lived in Galesburg. His wife was named Anna, and he had among
other children, a son Roy. I am also trying to find a Harry BROWN family
which also had Bureau Co. roots but moved to Knox Co., at about the same
time. Both families were still there in the 1920s. I have a lot of family
information to share.

married Hattie FETTERS, born about 1849 in Ohio. Their children were Minnie
WHITE; born about 1873; Charles Thomas WHITE, born November 30, 1875 in
Piatt County, IL, married October 3, 1896 Nellie EWING, in Yates City, IL,
and died July 26, 1929; and Kate WHITE, born 1879. According to the 1880 IL
census, they were living in Salem Township, Knox County, IL. One of the
daughters married James PORTERFIELD and lived in Yates City or Farmington,
but I don't know which one. I especially would like to find out more about
Thomas, Hattie, Minnie and Kate.
