Butt married Mary Butt, both born in Greenbrier Co, Va. Mary was the
daughter of Thomas Butt who died in Greenbrier Co. Thomas Didimus and Mary's
father were related but not sure how. Thomas Didimus was the son of

Looking for information on Augustus L. Lumberry, born 18 Sep 1844 in
Illinois, and married Levina Lumberry (b. 10 Dec 1845 in Ohio) in abt. 1867.
They had 13 children, Mary, Lucinda, Clara, Frances, William, Irenia Effie,
Charles, Nellie, Earl, Pearl, John, and Walter. The Illinois Census, Knox
County has them listed in 1910 with a son yet at home, Walter. Apparantly
Augustus' parents were both from France. Augustus and Levina Lumberry are
both buried in Yates City Cemetary in Knox County, along with a daughter,
Nellie Rose LUMBERRY VANTINE. Any information would be helpful on Augustus

Apr 1839 in Plainfield, Somerset, New Jersy, and married Sarah Boice on 19
November 1859 in Piscataway New Jersey. They are both buried in Yates City
Cemetary, and was the father of Wilmer VanTine, b 6 Mar 1882. Believe
Martins parents were Peter VanTine and Eleanor Tenbrook SKILLMAN, both born
and died in New Jersey.

emigrated to Galesburg in 1882 and lived with his brother, Peter Johan
EKLUND. Nils was born 19 Jan 1861 at Gnutskulla, Fliseryd, Smoland, Sweden
and was known to have lived in Galesburg at least until 1892-93, when we
lose track of him.

Schleswig-Holstein, North Germany, when it was under Danish rule (thus he's
often shown as born in Denmark). Nels immigrated 1865, naturalized 1870.
Perhaps record of naturalization is in Knox Co. Nels is said to have met >
Helen Sophia PETERSON/PETERSEN in Galesburg, Illinois, and to have married
her c. 1870/71 at a place called Monmouth (?). Nels was a blacksmith working
in Galesburg (so says the story) when a man from Wichita, KS, attending a
jewelers convention in IL convinced Nels to relocate. Nels & Helen's
chilren's names: Arnan/Peter Arnold, Augusta, Anna, Margarette, Frank, John,
Ida Matilda, Emma, Osie. ANY connection or info welcome.

of 16 children, some of whom lived in MO. He was Baptist and a son named

Olomon. He married as his 2nd wife, Lenora COLE. She was born 20 Jan 1871 in
Opdyke to Benjamin and Mariah Lucinda Handling Cole. R.F. and Lenora had the
following children: Naomi Olomon Heck, Ida Mae Olomon BIRKHEAD, Lloyd (died
young), Ezra Ellis Olomon, Ruth (died young), Hardie Keith Olomon, Minnie
Ethel Olomon Peterson, Arthur Olando Olomon, Charles Belmont Olomon, and
Velma Pearl Olomon HOLSINGER. Roan and Lenora came to Knox county around
1920. He died at their farm in rural Knoxville in 1926. Lenora died in 1963.

Looking for information on Baker and Katherine Horton. Children are: Samuel,
John, George, Benjamin, Jesse, Maria and Joseph. Newspaper obits show Baker,
Katherine, George and his wife, Delia(Talcott) buried in Hope Cemetery but
cemetery book only shows Delia, called Della in book. Jesse was first
engineer killed on Q railroad out of Galesburg. Maria died in Galesburg,
date and place of burial UNK. Joesph died in Los Angeles in 1899. As far as
is known, these Horton's came from PA, around Great Valley, PA where Baker
and Kathrine were married. Obit for Geroges widow states that she was buried
in family plot at Hope Cemetery Cemetery. George died in Galva.

10-7-1847 in Newcomerstown, Tuscarawas Co. OH. They lived in Knox Co. Ill by
the year 1858 as one of their children - Mary Catherine Finney Howard was
born there in that year. My great-grandmother Martha Alice Finney Middleton
was also born there on Jan. 1, 1860. Thomas and Rachel's last child was
Celia Finney Crozier born 1870 in Knox Co. , Ill. I know that the family had
moved to Nebraska by 1887. Thomas fought in the Civil War for Illinois 83rd
Regiment Infantry.

(b.1793) on 9 March 1843 in Hancock County. In 1850 they were living in
Henderson TWP, Knox County along with Charles, Edwin, Joseph and Phineas
WHITLEY and Harvey and Lorenzo WADE. I have also come across an H. WADE who
served as county clerk of Jasper County and Sheriff for Lawrence
County-however I do not know if this is my Hiram WADE. Any information on
