Biography - Andrew Clearwater
ANDREW CLEARWATER. The son of Jacob and Esther (Shealy) Clearwater, natives
of NY, he was born in Montgomery County, NY, 3 May 1818. He was reared on a farm
and educated in common schools. He came to Knox County in 1843. he married 13
Apr 1856 to Margaret J. McGreggon who has borne him one boy and one girl. He
joined the Baptist Church in 1837 and is connected with the Ontario Church. A
Republican.
