I. M. CASHMAN. A farmer whose parents were George and Rebecca J. (Murphy)
Cashman, formerly of Virginia, he was born in Tazewell County, Illinois, on Feb.
11, 1850. His educational advantages were the High School of Cherry Grove and a
course in Abingdon College. He was married Jan. 16, 1873 [the Illinois Statewide
Marriage Index lists a Isaiah M. Cashman marrying a Annie E. Bridson in Knox
County on January 16, 1873], since which time he has lived in Knox County. He
has been a member of the Christian Church since 1870. Politically he is a
Democrat. Post office, Hermon.
